We seek reliable staff to help our clients live independently in their homes. Working as a Community Support Professional, you will assist individuals in a one-on-one setting in their own home as you support them to lead the life our clients see for themselves. You will provide support with a variety of activities, including community engagement, family involvement, managing medical appointments, household management, and other areas of daily living that the individual served may have difficulty addressing independently. The pay range is typically between $17 to $22 an hour, depending on work experience, professional references and education.
Requirements: · Enjoy working with people of different cultural and social backgrounds, sexual orientation and gender identity · Possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance · Able to drive in all weather conditions · Able to pass a Department of Human Services criminal background check · Possess at least a High School diploma or GED · Minimum of 1-year experience in the field, prefer at least 3 years · Able to climb stairs, walk for extended periods and do light lifting and household tasks · Ability to use a computer to document case notes and manage email
